Just how good is our packaging? Our packaging is degradable. In just 120 days, up to 60% of the packaging will be dissolved in a residential compost environment.
Standard plastic/foil bags are made with 100% non-renewable products and it is not degradable.
Our packaging is made 40 to 60% renewable wood pulp starch and is almost completely degradable. Our bags are tested with USA ASTM D-6868 and D-6400 standard which is 100% of wood pulp starch. Based portion will be dissolved in healthy composable in approx. 120 days with residential composting environment facility balance 40 – 60% of packaging is PE from fossil and it contains an additive that helps to breakdown over approx. 10 years. Our bags when disposed and removed and placed in the bin, will have less problem decomposing compared with standard plastic PE.
